City roads crews tackle ice buildup and address remaining concerns

Service Announcement

The City’s roads crews have now shifted into cleanup mode following this week’s storm, focusing on areas of ice buildup and responding to issues being reported by the public.

A grader is being used to clear snow and pathways around the cenotaph at Veteran’s Park, and crews are also cleaning up the area around the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre, with both locations expected to attract high foot traffic for Friday’s Remembrance Day ceremonies.

With the high-priority routes now cleared, crews are tackling ice buildup and shifting into maintenance mode. For further details about the policy, or if you have any questions about their processes, visit penticton.ca/snow.
