Adaptive hockey teams from Kelowna and Kamloops will be joining the hosts welcomed by the UpperDek Vees this Sunday (March 9) at McLaren Arena for the second annual regional tournament.
The UpperDek Vees is an adaptive hockey program for individuals who experience developmental and/or physical medical challenges. This program was founded by volunteers and champions in our community and continues to operate with dedicated volunteer coaches, DekSmart sponsorship, and the City of Penticton.
The public is welcome to attend the games and show support to these athletes. This event is free to attend, please join in the fun and support these athletes.
Game Schedule:
- 1st game at 9 a.m. - Penticton UpperDek Vees vs. Central Okanagan Wild
- 2nd game at 10:40 a.m. - Central Okanagan Wild vs Kamloops Junior Blazers
- 3rd game at 12:10 p.m. - Kamloops Juniors Blazers vs Penticton UpperDek Vees
