Go vote! General Voting Day, April 5

Penticton residents are reminded that Saturday, April 5 is General Voting Day for the 2025 Municipal By-election.

Voting hours are 8:00am to 8:00pm, Saturday, April 5 at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre, 273 Power Street.  

Busy weekend of activities
Please be mindful that there are a number of activities taking place in the area and parking may be a challenge.  Consider taking transit, walk or find alternative ways to get to the polling station.

Curbside voting
Curbside voting is available to those who are unable to enter the polling station.  Look for the signage outside of the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre for details.

Mail Ballots 
In order to be counted, mail ballots must be returned to City Hall by 4:00 pm on Friday, April 4 or can be dropped off at the polling station at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre before 8:00 pm on Saturday, April 5.

Preliminary by-election results
You can watch (via Zoom) the Chief Election Officer announce the preliminary election results after the close of voting on Saturday night.  You may find the zoom link for this announcement on penticton.ca/elections starting at 7 a.m. Saturday, April 5. Livestream will begin shortly after 8 p.m. and results will be presented as soon as counting has concluded.
