The Angry Vegan began in 2017 at Barefoot Beach Resort, later settling into its current home on Main Street. Founded by Daren and Yesenia, the name was inspired by a family friend who always wished for more vegan options. His passionate requests sparked a friendship and a business.
Now run by their daughter-in-law and son, the restaurant offers wholesome, homemade take-and-bake meals, pizzas, wraps and smoothies – all made in-house with love. Staying true to its roots as a family-run business, the new generation is focused on feeding the community while growing their own family and the business together.
