The outdoor ice rink at Gyro Park is now open for the season, as weather permits.
The rink is located at 107 Martin Street, offering free ice skating in the heart of downtown Penticton.
Due to fluctuating weather, anyone visiting the facility is reminded to skate to the conditions and pay attention to on-site signage.
The City reminds the public that skate rentals are not available on-site. Please bring your own skates, helmets and safety equipment. Also, no shoes are allowed on the ice.
Access will be available for family skating and shinny hockey on alternating days (no hockey on family skating days), with more scheduling information available on the City’s website at penticton.ca/skating.
