The City of Penticton is developing a KVR Trail Strategy to guide how the trail is improved, celebrated and better connected to support recreation, transportation, tourism, and community wellbeing.
To date, the City has completed two rounds of engagement to understand existing conditions and to define a shared vision for the trail’s future. A draft concept plan has been developed using the feedback received and will be available for public review starting June 6. Residents are encouraged to stop by a pop-up booth to learn more, ask questions and share feedback in person.
“We’ve heard great ideas from the community so far, and this is another important opportunity to make sure we’re on the right track,” says Ysabel Contreras, Parks Capital Projects Supervisor. “We encourage all residents to stop by one of our pop-up booths and share their feedback as we refine the plan. Your input will help ensure that the final plans for the KVR Trail align with our community’s priorities and vision.”
Feedback received will play a key role in finalizing the KVR Trail Strategy and shaping future improvements.
Drop by one of the pop-up booths between 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, June 6:
- Poplar Grove Trailhead
1194 Poplar Grove Road - KVR Trailhead at Vancouver Place
148 Vancouver Place - Downtown Farmers’ Market
100 Block Main Street
