OKIFF - Okanagan International Film Festival October 15-18, 2026
This fall, the world is coming to the Okanagan—on screen, behind the camera and throughout our communities. After an almost 10-year hiatus, the Okanagan International Film Festival (OKIFF) returns October 15–18, 2026. It will be a gathering of cinema, culture and creativity: four exciting days of films, industry events and community celebrations bringing together storytellers, creators and audiences from across the Okanagan and around the world.
The excitement is building! OKIFF has received nearly 165 film submissions from 20 countries across six continents. Selected Canadian, international and Indigenous films will be screened in Kelowna, West Kelowna, Penticton (in the Landmark Cinemas) and Vernon, giving local audiences the chance to explore new places, perspectives and stories through film.
We would love your organization and its members to be part of this exciting new chapter. There are many ways to get involved:
- Sharing festival and volunteer information with your members and networks
- Encouraging members to volunteer and help bring OKIFF to life
- Inviting film lovers, families and friends to attend and discover something new together
- Volunteering is a fun way to meet people, gain valuable event experience and contribute to a major cultural celebration in the Okanagan.
