In 1986, KF Aerospace founder Barry Lapointe and the Odyssey 86 crew embarked on a journey to celebrate two milestones: the 50th anniversary of the Douglas DC-3 and promoting Canada's Expo 86. The Odyssey visited 55 cities and accumulated more than 280 hours of flying time.

Produced in partnership with Edge Digital Media Odyssey 86 - 90 Years of the DC-3 brings together some members of the original crew to revisit the adventure in their own words, sharing stories and memories behind an extraordinary chapter in Canadian aviation history.

Doreen Olson became part of aviation history as Crew Coordinator aboard the Odyssey DC-3 during its around-the-world adventure that promoted Canada's Expo 86. She continues to share her memories on the journey and the evolution of women's roles in aviation. Emma Jones is a marketing and communications professional. She leads marketing and communications at the KF Centre for Excellence, connecting the Okanagan to Canada's aviation community.

The Brown Bag Lecture Series is held every Tuesday at lunchtime (noon to 1 pm) from September to April. Each week a guest lecturer speaks about a subject in their area of expertise. Topics include local history, travel, culture, and natural history.
Admission is by suggested donation of $2 per adult and $1 for children.
