For the dinosaur lovers in the crowd! The Penticton Museum will host Dinosaurs of BC from October 17, 2025 to the end of March 2026.
On loan from the Royal BC Museum, this special exhibit tells the fascinating story of British Columbia’s very own resident dinosaurs. It highlights the diversity of dinosaurs from BC and the different environments where fossils have been discovered, featuring dinosaur bones and footprints from Vancouver Island, the Peace Region and the Kootenays. Through research carried out by the Royal BC Museum’s palaeontology team, visitors can learn just how many of these ancient creatures roamed the province. See perfectly preserved marine fossils, follow the tracks of the Tyrannosaurus and the Ankylosaurus, and meet “Buster” our resident Ferrisaurus.
Penticton Museum hours:
Tuesday to Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm
Suggested entry donation: $2 per adult, $1 per child
