Gyro Park

For live performances and outdoor festivals, head to Penticton's Gyro Park near Okanagan Lake. This 1.6-acre park is filled with the sounds of music during summer as entertainers take to the outdoor stage. In fact, generations have been flocking here since 1936, when the park became used publicly for entertainment functions.

The stage was replaced in 1951 with the existing Gyro Bandshell, which today is deemed an historic site by Canada’s Historic Places.

During the week, you’ll find bocce players as well as tourists and locals alike having picnics in the shade.
