Welcome to the Community Centre Fitness Room, where you can enjoy free weights, circuit training and a cardio area including treadmills, stationary bikes, ellipticals and rowing machines.
Many of our machines are accessible and adaptable for those in wheelchairs. We welcome groups and corporate wellness plans.
Hours and Fees
The Fitness Room is available for bookings between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, 10:30 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Timeslot availabilities include:
- 6:00 - 7:15 a.m.
- 7:30 - 8:45 a.m.
- 9:15 - 10:30 a.m.
- 10:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
- 12:15 - 1:30 p.m.
- 2:15 - 3:30 p.m.
- 3:45 - 5:00 p.m.
- 5:15 - 6:30 p.m.
- 6:45 - 8:00 p.m.
- 10:30-11:45 a.m.
- 12:00-1:15 p.m.
- 1:30-2:45 p.m.
- 3:00-4:15 p.m.
- 4:30-5:45 p.m.
All current memberships remain on hold and cannot be used for timeslot reservations. This includes 1, 3, 6 & 12 month memberships and 10 ticket pass cards.
Clients may request a membership refund backdated to the original date of closure until December 31, 2020. Membership refund requested after this date cannot be backdated.

Customized Fitness and Nutrition Plans
Do you ever go to a fitness centre or gym and ask yourself, "okay, what now?"
Have you been interested about getting into fitness but don’t know where to start?
Have you tried to follow your own fitness program but are not seeing the results you wanted?
If this describes you or, you encounter any other challenges when trying to include fitness in your life, the Penticton Community Centre would like to help you develop a fitness plan that is customized and properly calibrated to your lifestyle and needs.
For $199, one of the Community Centre’s experienced fitness professionals will meet with you to ask a series of questions garnering your input, to design a three-month program that is specifically catered to your life, goals and needs and will help break down any challenges formerly faced when it comes to fitness.
The individual specific plan is designed for the person in mind, focusing on activities you enjoy, workout length, location, injury prevention, muscle building and weight loss goals.
Included in the custom plan is one orientation and three drop-ins to go over the specifics of the program and for using the Fitness Room.

Whether you are looking to complement fitness goals, increase energy, lose weight or just feel better overall, nutrition is key.
If you find yourself looking to take your health journey to the next step, it may be time to work with our certified nutritionist to build a custom nutrition plan that fits your specific needs and helps you reach your goals! By doing so, you will be provided with:

- simple education
By working with our certified nutritionist, you will learn how to use food to your advantage and transform your health to become the healthiest version of yourself.

Fitness Room Orientations
Book a Fitness Room Orientation with us!
A certified personal trainer will take you 1 on 1 through the ins and outs of the Fitness Room including: proper etiquette, how the use all equipment safely, helpful tips, exercise form and some examples of exercises related to your personal fitness goals.
Individuals 12 years and under are not permitted in the Fitness Room at any time. Individuals between 13-15 years are permitted to use the Fitness Room ONLY if they have first completed a Fitness Room Orientation with us.

$22 per single orientation. $32 per couples/double orientation.
Book a personal training session with one of our knowledgeable trainers. Our certified and motivational trainers can help you reach your fitness goals while ensuring proper form and giving sound advice. $48 per individual session or $450 for 10 sessions ($45 per session).
