Penticton’s Youth Park will be closed on Saturday, Aug. 16 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. for a scooter competition.
This event is open to pros and amateurs on scooters, with registration available on-site on the day. The public is also welcome to attend. However, only those registered to compete will be allowed to use the skate park during this time.
The Youth Park at Riverside Park is deemed to be one of the largest skate parks of its kind in B.C., featuring a 30,000-square-foot site with a variety of obstacles and terrain, plus covered spectator seating. For more information about the park, visit penticton.ca/skate-park.
