Updated community support locations available for those displaced by fires

Service Announcement

Several locations within Penticton are available on Sunday, Aug. 9, to provide support, relief and amenities for residents displaced by the Bald Range Wildfire (K51490).

Comfort Centre
Princess Margaret Secondary School
120 Green Ave. W.

Open: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Services available include:
•    Washrooms
•    Outdoor play spaces
•    Water and light snacks
•    Device charging stations
•    Cool, clean air
•    Indoor space to rest and connect with others

Residents attending the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre (PTCC) for registration are encouraged to leave the facility once they have completed the registration process, if they are able to do so. This will help ensure staff can continue processing arrivals and that supports remain accessible to those who need them most.

•    Penticton Seventh-day Adventist Church, 290 Warren Ave. W.
