Construction work will begin Monday at the intersection of Pineview Road and Dartmouth Drive to install a new crosswalk with flashing lights and a curb extension, improving pedestrian safety at this intersection.
This work is part of the ongoing Point Intersection construction project and will connect with the new sidewalk installed along Dartmouth Drive and down Greenwood Drive. The work is expected to take until Friday, Aug. 25, with the goal of completing this section before the return of the school year.
The northbound lane of Dartmouth Drive will be closed at Pineview Road during this time, with detour signs in place. Anyone passing through this area should watch for signage and flaggers, slow down and anticipate delays.
