With Canada Post workers on strike, the City of Penticton is reminding residents about alternative ways to view and pay their utility bills.
As of today, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has launched a national strike. Mail and parcels will not be processed or delivered until further notice. In addition, CUPW has warned that delivery delays may continue even after the strike ends.
Penticton utilities customers are responsible for keeping accounts up to date and ensuring that payments reach the City by the due date, regardless of any mail service disruption.
For information on how to access and pay your utility bill, including creating an account at MyCity or paying online at MyPayments, visit penticton.ca/utilities.
