Welcome to your new community! To help you settle in, the City’s Economic Development department is offering new residents a ‘Welcome Pack’ providing information about community services and resources – plus some free passes to explore some local public facilities.
Who’s Eligible?
This information is geared toward newcomers who would like to know more about city and public services. Anyone who moved to the city since Jan. 1, 2022 is eligible to register for the welcome pack at penticton.ca/welcome-home.
What’s Included?
The packages are designed as one per household, while supplies last. Each includes a copy of the Penticton: Your Guide to Living Like a Local magazine, free passes to explore a public recreation facility, plus maps and other useful information from Travel Penticton, the Penticton & Wine Country Chamber of Commerce, Penticton Museum & Archives and Penticton Public Library. Newcomers to Canada are also encouraged to contact South Okanagan Immigrant and Community Services (SOICS).
