Dragonboat Pub
Located at Skaha Lake marina, the Dragonboat Pub patio offers unparallel views. It takes its name from the dragon boaters that not only practice at the lake, but who host the annual Penticton Dragonboat Festival. The pub’s breakfast is becoming quite legendary.
Sociale on the Lakeshore
Sociale is the latest at the lake, with tasty eats and great cocktail selections paired with a gorgeous patio to take in all the views to the lake and beach.
Yellow Dog Brewing
Yellow Dog Brewing is officially welcoming both two-legged and four-legged friends to the 'Dog Park' in downtown Penticton. Located just a few minutes' walk from Okanagan Lake beach, this patio is an inviting space for both humans and dogs alike, with lots of water bowls and misters for those hot summer days. The Dog Park also has the Hungry Monster Food Truck, serving up burgers, dogs, fries and more.
Kin and Folk
Kin and Folk’s patio is a little oasis in the heart of the city. Lounge on the enclosed patio shaded by the big tree in the middle, lit by twinkling lights and patio lanterns while drinking cheeky sips and flavourful fusion bites.

Cannery Brewing
For aficionados of craft brews, Cannery Brewing is a dog-friendly establishment boasting not one but two charming patios. Plus, the Backyard offers live music and rotating food trucks.
The Barking Parrot Bar
Located at the Penticton Lakeside Resort, The Barking Parrot Bar offers a lively party atmosphere and expansive patio overlooking Okanagan Lake. It's a popular spot for drinks, live music and socializing.
Salty’s Beach House
Salty’s is a summer hotspot, with hot demand for a seat on their beach-level or rooftop patio. Offering a pirate-theme and salty drinks to go with the fun menu, this restaurant is across from Okanagan Lake.
The Patio Burger and Ice Cream
We would be remiss if we didn’t mention The Patio – a great dog and family friendly spot to come from the beach for lunch or dinner. Grab a burger, fries or fish and chips in the casual counter-service restaurant.

The Black Antler is inviting people and their dogs to come enjoy their patio this summer. They recently announced a dog menu for everyone’s favourite four legged friends.
Barley Mill Brew Pub
Soak up the sunshine on this dog-friendly patio, equipped with misters for those hot Okanagan days. Come for the live music, cold drinks and great pub food. Established in 1982, the English Tudor-style Barley Mill is the quintessential neighbourhood pub.
