Street Sweeping
Street and lane sweeping takes place each year between mid-March to the end of November. This ensures our roads are safe and clear.
The spring cleanup removes winter sand and debris from the roads. Roads are swept in priority, with the highest priority being main arterial roads, bus routes and bike routes.
Sweeping continues during summer and fall, with extra support for special events. Fall operations are primarily focused on leaf collection in areas where storm sewers are affected.Â
For more information, you can review Penticton's Street Sweeping Schedule or our Street and Lane Sweeping Operations Policy.
