Through this Request for Proposals, the City of Penticton invites submissions for the replacement of nine (9) existing McGraw-Edison oil-filled reclosers [five (5) at Huth Substation and four (4) at Waterford Substation] and twelve (12) existing Cooper VSA20A reclosers [six (6) at Carmi Substation and six (6) at Westminster Substation, all with new Eaton Nova-NXSTS reclosers, along with upgrading SEL-351R relays to SEL-651 relays housed in Eaton cabinets.Additional tasks include leveling installation pads at Waterford Substation, installing fiber connections for SCADA integration, and testing a pole-mounted recloser at 568 Dawson Ave. Comprehensive electrical testing and protection verification are required, and a detailed report must be submitted to the City within 30 days of completion.
