Hiring & Workforce Housing Forum Boosts Okanagan Employers’ Hiring Power

Organized by the City of Penticton’s Economic Development Department, this ground-breaking event aims to arm employers from throughout the region with new tools to help them recruit and retain quality employees. The forum features interactive sessions, expert speakers and hands-on training, while also working together to tackle regional housing challenges.

“In today’s virtual world, having a video that demonstrates your company culture can be a hugely beneficial marketing tool. We’re offering employers the opportunity to create professional videos at low cost, which they can use to promote their business workplaces on social media, their website and on recruitment sites such as StartHereOkanagan.com,” said event organizer Jennifer Vincent, who oversees Special Projects in Economic Development with the City of Penticton.
