Multiple opportunities to learn more and speak with representatives about proposed temporary housing site

Service Announcement

Residents are invited to learn more about the proposed Heart and Hearth project at upcoming information sessions hosted by BC Housing, the City of Penticton and community partners.

An in-person session will take place on Thursday, Nov. 20, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre.
Presentations will be held in Salon C at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. Each presentation is approximately 15 minutes, offering repeated information for groups arriving at different times. There will be no public Q&A during the presentations.

Following the presentations, attendees can view information boards in Salon B and speak directly with BC Housing representatives, City staff, council members, and partners, including 100 More Homes, Interior Health and public safety representatives from RCMP, Fire and Bylaw.

Two virtual sessions will also be offered: Tuesday, Nov. 25, from 6 to 7 p.m., and Wednesday, Nov. 26, from 10 to 11 a.m. Both sessions will present the same content as the in-person event. A moderated Q&A will be available after the presentation. City staff, BC Housing representatives, community partners like 100 More Homes, Interior Health and our public safety partners from Police, Fire and Bylaw will also be in attendance to answer questions.

Registration is required for the online sessions.
