Through this Request for Proposals, the City of Penticton is seeking joint proposals from an Architect and a General Contractor, submitting together as partners, to support the delivery of a new firehall using an Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) method.
This approach emphasizes early collaboration, shared responsibility, and alignment of project objectives among the Owner and key project participants. The successful Respondent will be expected to work collaboratively with the City and other project partners to provide collective leadership throughout the planning, design, and construction phases of the Project.
The Contracts with the successful Respondent resulting from this RFP include:
The City’s Professional Services Agreement, as detailed in Part C of this RFP, for the efforts performed during the Validation phase or up until such time that the CCDC 30 – 2025 has been agreed upon by the parties; and
the CCDC 30 - 2025 Edition Integrated Project Delivery Contract, as modified by the Supplemental Conditions. The Supplementary Conditions are anticipated to be developed collaboratively with the successful Respondent and Other IPD Parties through the Integrated Project Delivery process.
