Wiltse Watermain Replacement
This construction (due to begin in mid-May) involves replacing a watermain along Dartmouth Drive, Balsam Avenue and a section of Evergreen Drive. Major excavation will be required to replace the infrastructure, followed by roadway paving and installing a new sidewalk along Balsam Avenue from Dartmouth Drive to the daycare centre and Wiltse Elementary. Manitoba Street Improvements
Work is underway along Manitoba Street to make significant safety improvements including installing a new multi-use pathway, pedestrian crossings, a raised crosswalk and improved lighting. This project will also involve upgrading underground infrastructure including watermain and drainage replacements, ensuring reliable access to water supply for many years to come.
This work is being completed in response to neighbourhood feedback and was identified through a Safe Routes to School study, creating safer routes for people to travel to and from KVR Elementary.
